Managing Stress and Anxiety Effectively:
This session will help delegates to consider the impact of their stress responses and work through a ten-point plan to help them manage stressful situations constructively.
Content includes:
· The effects of stress and potential impact on your wellbeing
· Your stress tolerance and how can it change
· Managing stress and anxiety – a ten-point plan
· How to stop self-sabotage behaviours – understanding the cycle of social anxiety
· Language and behaviour to manage stress and anxiety effectively
Building Resilience to Support Wellbeing and a Positive Mindset:
This session gives delegates an opportunity to re-connect with their strengths and to consider whether limiting beliefs might be holding them back from success.
Content includes:
· What does good resilience look like? Beware the ‘shoulds’!
· Recognising and managing the impacts to your resilience – Automatic Negative Thoughts
· Reconnecting with your strengths
· Limiting and enabling beliefs
· Reinforcing the positives
· Five ways to find your wellbeing solutions
· Resilience planning
Effective Communication and Behaviour:
This session will include a practical exercise to support Managers to practice their skills in a safe environment.

· Communicating effectively with others

· Communicating with influence
· Assertive language and behaviour to support success
· Practice, observation and feedback
· Psychological approaches to support understanding
Managing Your Team Effectively to Achieve Positive Outcomes:
In this session delegates can consider ways in which the expectations of performance, behaviour and attendance can be defined to support their communication and management of the team; to balance their own work and management responsibilities, and manage conversations to achieve positive outcomes.
